How to Become a Notary Public - Florida State's Requirements 

 Eligibility
To be eligible to become a notary public, one must be at least 18 years of age and a legal resident of Florida. Minimum residency is not required.  If granted a commission, legal residency must be maintained throughout the four-year term of the commission.

Bond Required: $7,500

1. Download the Notary Application from your student account.
2. Complete the notary public application, notary public bond and mail to State Departmen(see above).
3. Pass the Online Notary Course (included in your package)
